CIR is a legend before becoming a star. Hand-Painted Sky is a testament of a sort, albeit a bit short to the expectations of their cult followers. their succeeding followups supported their legacy of crafting pop songs without being popsie... they sell records without being sellouts in terms of musicality. CIR somehow manages to retain that sound so unaggressive yet quite peacefully unconventional. despite their hush-hush popularity mainly maintained by Cookie's showbiz visibility, CIR still earns the respect of many in the industry for what their honesty and sincerity to what they are doing.
