the first time i heard Darkness Fell, i couldn't believe it was a local act. i admit i often underestimate local artists' capability to make quality recordings before. this band, did just that perhaps with their debut album without so much digital tweeking. i mean, with a dashing exhibition of technical proficiency, this band crashes critics labeling of them as Metallica/Pearl Jam ripoffs... it was with Wolfgang that i had my most intimate engagement with a major band... headbangin', slam dancing, and yelling along with each of their songs during a Tagbilaran City concert was one my most unforgetable 'rock n roll' moments...
